Okay google call dad – Google keeps changing its algorithms throughout. Period. This is not a new fact. We know about this already. Google does this to bring out new changes and to test new things for its users.
All of these are done to make Google a better place for its users. Google wants all its users to enjoy the space better each day. The aim of the company from Day 1 has been to provide ample, correct, and the most relevant information to its users. And for this, Google filters out a lot of information for the best ones for its users.
The same thing is done by Google for its products too. Google products like Google maps, Google apps, etc are used by people on so many levels. Google constantly updates its apps and it features in the different products too so that people using it can be most convenient with it.
One of the latest versions of search that Google has announced is for the android search that gives an opportunity to you to call or text contacts in your phones by just saying your relationship with them. For example, if you say Okay Google call dad, then Google will understand through your voice search that you would want to make a call to your dad.
Hence, it will search your contact list and will make a call for you to any number in which you have written dad. No, it will not only call a contact that is saved as dad, but if you have written a name of your dad and marked your relationship with him over there, Google will trace that and call your dad.
Okay google call dad
So, if your contact for your dad says, Mr. Geller and the relationship is marked as dad and you say Okay Google call dad, Google will call Mr. Geller from your contacts as it knows he is your dad. If you have a contact that says dad and no relationship is marked there, it will call dad recognizing him as your dad with the contact name.
But, what if you don’t have a marked contact and no dad written in the contact as well? Then, an interface allowing you to select the person you want to associate with that relationship will then appear. But, there is no kind of interface there for managing these relationships yet.
Okay, son did you know about this feature yet?
By far, what this feature supports is the standard extended family designations (at least in English, the case seems like the feature is limited in geographic scope at launch) and also different kinds of relationships like father, mother, daughter, son, uncle, aunt, boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, etc.
There are more in the list of the relationship for sure. There could be relationships where there can be more than one possible designation. And you have marked them both but even if you say one of them, it would make the call. There are relationships that aren’t supported or they do not fit into this scenario. In-laws and step-relatives don’t yet appear to be supported, or cousins three-times removed.

For this feature, the best thing is that you do not have to update your phone. This search feature will work even without the update. Google has enabled that on the very version of your android that you are using from its back end. So, you need not worry about that.
Now that you know everything about this feature, try this feature out. Your smart phone gives way to trying out so many new things almost daily, so make the most use of it. Do not just stick to limited using. But, go exploring.
